The unexplored tracks and trails of the Estoril Coast and Sintra-Cascais Nature Park will be the next challenge for the 67 adventure sport teams from 28 countries already entered for the Portuguese leg of the Adventure Racing World Championship – AR WC where the final of the world championships will be held.

The endurance, orienteering and versatility of the best athletes in the world will be put to the test along the 700/800 kms, to be completed in 120 hours non stop.

Throughout this secret course of Estoril Portugal XPD 2009 the athletes will face many challenges in one of the remotest parts of Portugal.
